Why ODU for Engineering Technology?

Industry is built on advanced technical systems. People working on these complicated structures must have technical knowledge as well as analytical skills. Learn those skills and more by earning a bachelor's degree online.

In this program, ODU takes an interdisciplinary approach to engineering. This supports both military and civilian careers. You will learn the design, operation, and repair of these systems in major industries, such as automated manufacturing and shipping.

This program includes a minor in engineering management. These classes will teach you to analyze complex technical and business issues so you can make informed decisions.

Students with military training in mechanical or electrical engineering technology are ideal candidates for this program.

When you graduate, you will earn a Bachelor of Science degree in interdisciplinary studies with a major in general engineering technology.
