Why ODU for Engineering Technology?

Advanced technical systems require a unique blend of technical knowledge to enable understanding and analysis of the interrelated electrical and mechanical components.

This program is designed for students with military training in mechanical or electrical engineering technology.

Our electromechanical systems concentration has an interdisciplinary approach, to support both military and civilian careers. With this degree, you will be ready to participate in the design, operation, and repair of these systems in critical industries, such as automated manufacturing and ship systems.

This program includes a minor in engineering management to help you apply analytical skills to complex technical and business decisions.
