When you graduate, you will earn a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology (BSET) with a major in Civil Engineering Technology. You can choose senior electives in construction management, structural design or site development.
Graduates are eligible to take the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. This is the first step to licensure as a professional engineer in Virginia and many other states.
ODU's Civil Engineering Technology program is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission (ETAC) of ABET, www.abet.org, under the General Criteria and the Civil Engineering Technology Program Criteria.
