A Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential from the Project Management Institute is one of the most requested and recognized certifications for project managers. Our Project Management Certificate online includes all concepts, management tools and processes required for project managers who oversee projects in the professional workplace. It will provide the core knowledge needed to pass the Project Management Professional (PMP)® Exam.

This nine-month certificate program is for engineering and/or technology professionals.

Once you earn your certificate, you will also qualify for ODU’s Project Management Professional (PMP) Exam Preparation class at a discounted rate.

  • This online project management certificate program requires that you watch pre-recorded lectures in four Engineering Management courses and attend a live, online discussion facilitated by our instructors on Friday evenings. The courses are on an accelerated schedule, so you will complete two courses in one regular semester.

  • Attend class online from any location. The pre-recorded lectures can be accessed online at any time during each course. You will login online at a specific time each Friday for the discussion portion of each course.

  • This certificate can expand your opportunities in your professional engineering or technical career.

    By completing this certificate, you may be eligible to apply 12 academic credit hours to an Old Dominion University graduate degree program in Engineering Management or Systems Engineering.
