Organizations rely on accurate, secure, and well-managed data to make informed decisions and keep their operations running smoothly. ODU's Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) prepares you to support the systems that store, organize, and protect this essential information.
You'll study how to:
- Manage and maintain organizational databases.
- Design and analyze information systems that support business functions.
- Understand software engineering and network fundamentals that impact data systems.
- Apply e-business concepts to improve information flow and business performance.
Through coursework in database management, systems analysis and design, business process redesign, and core business areas such as accounting, finance, marketing, and management, you'll gain both the technical and business knowledge needed to support data-driven operations in any industry.
When you graduate, you'll earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in information systems and technology with a major in database administration from ODU's AACSB-accredited Strome College of Business.
