Why ODU for RN to BSN?

At ODUGlobal, we merge innovative educational practices with your personal and professional life, ensuring you have the freedom to pursue your nursing career on your terms.

Fully Accredited: Our program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and taught by experienced, full-time Old Dominion University nursing faculty, ensuring you receive a quality education that's recognized and respected. Most of our faculty also work as nurses in local hospitals.

Student-Centered Learning: Even in an online, asynchronous format, our commitment to your education feels personal. Connect with faculty and Student Success Directors via Zoom, phone, or text for support when you need it, or on campus if you’re near Hampton Roads.

Advance Faster: Registered Nurses receive 33 of the 66 nursing credits as experiential learning credits. These are awarded from the RN licensure at no cost to the student. We also offer a FREE transfer credit evaluation of college credits, including CLEP.  Learn more about the post-licensure RN to BSN program. Plus, our courses are graded traditionally (letter grades, not pass/fail), preparing you for graduate education, including a master’s degree in nursing or a nurse educator graduate certificate.
