Our business data analytics courses will introduce you to data platforms like Tableau, Excel, SAS, SPSS, and R programming. You also will learn how to develop decision models and provide data in ways that others can understand and use. With these skills, you can:

  • Describe the current state of specific processes or issues in an organization
  • Predict with certain confidence levels what may happen in the future
  • Recommend courses of action to improve an organization's efficiency and competitive position

With a broad range of business courses to choose from, this bachelor's program has the flexibility to match your career goals.

In the Business Analytics and Intelligence concentration, you will focus on the software and information technology concepts used to access useful data and generate information to support decision making.

In the Business Analytics and Functional Areas concentration, you will combine business analytics courses with courses from other business majors. This will help you apply business analytics skills in a particular area, such as accounting, economics, finance, information technology, management, or marketing. By taking courses from other business majors, you also may be able to complete a double major with minimal additional coursework.

When you graduate, you will earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Business Analytics.
