Graduating with a high GPA is important to you, and helping you achieve that goal is important to Old Dominion University.
That's why we have a bounty of tools available to help you—right at your fingertips.
And don't forget, your advisor is just a call or email away.
Studying and Research
Tutoring and peer groups are available through ODU's Tutoring & Mentoring tools. You can connect to the sessions online via web conferencing, or if you're in the Hampton Roads area, you can attend them in person.
ODUOnline students can check out books from ODU libraries and libraries connected through InterLibrary Loan. The materials are mailed right to your door.
ODU's Writing Center provides counseling and workshops on improving college writing, including live online tutorials. Schedule a virtual appointment by calling 757-683-4013. Make sure to tell them you're an online student so they schedule an online session.
They also have some great YouTube videos to help you get started with writing papers and taking essay exams.
Student Outreach and Support (S.O.S.) provides services to students who experience administrative, academic, or personal road blocks to their success at ODU. Contact S.O.S. if you need help with an unexpected life event that could interfere with your studies, concerns about university policies, or other concern.
