This undergraduate program is designed to lead into our Master of Science in Education with Virginia licensure at the post-baccalaureate level.
You will first complete this Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies: Teacher Preparation from the College of Arts and Letters. This state-approved, nationally-accredited teacher degree program will provide you with a unique, multi-disciplinary, liberal arts and sciences degree. Immediately upon completion of this degree, you can seamlessly transition into a graduate or post-baccalureate licensure program in ODU's Darden College of Education.
** Pending approval from the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia, this degree will transition to a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in Fall 2019. The B.S. degree will require 120 credits total (a minimum of 30 credit hours must be earned from ODU).
