Two Old Dominion University maritime researchers have recently received international recognition, part of the ongoing legacy of achievement of ODU's Maritime Institute.

The Darden College of Education at Old Dominion University has been named the 25th best value college for an online master's in education degree by College Values Online.

The University placed 29th in the annual rankings of more than 175 schools, which are released just before Veterans Day. ODU is the only four-year institution in Virginia that placed in the top 30 nationally.
