The PLE is an interface used in flexible online courses, designed by ODU's Center for Learning and Teaching. PLE has been integrated into Canvas.
All ODU students have access to online tools and software such as:
- Microsoft Office 365: Download or access online apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more.
- Zoom: Create your own web conference meetings for group work or study sessions.
- Microsoft OneDrive: Cloud storage to create, edit, store and share files, up to 5TB total.
- G Workspace for Education: Free use of Google's Workspace for Education apps, such as Google Drive.
The option to take courses by portable media is limited to students with specific academic or military experience and training who are enrolling in specific programs.
For portable media exam issues or technical assistance, contact the MEM Program Manager at mempm@odu.edu.
Canvas is ODU's learning management system. Your instructors may use Canvas to deliver course content, host discussion forums, and administer exams. You can access Canvas in a browser, and mobile apps are available.
