- Intro to Machine Learning
- AI Security and Privacy
- Choose one: Intro to AI or Natural Language Processing
- Choose one: Applied AI in Cybersecurity or Trustworthy & Responsible AI
You must have completed an Introductory Linear Algebra course prior to enrolling in this program.
If you enroll in our Master of Science in cybersecurity after completing this certificate, up to 12 credits earned in the certificate will be credited toward the master's program.

Online Learning Environment
Access course materials online from any location. Some classes will have live, regular online meeting times, while others will not. The instructor may schedule assignments and exams at specific times. All courses follow ODU's regular academic calendar.

How to Apply
To apply, you must have a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution or an equivalent degree from a foreign institution. You will apply to ODU as a non-degree seeking graduate student.
You must have completed an Introductory Linear Algebra course prior to beginning this certificate program.
Those whose native language is not English must submit a minimum score of 230 on the computer based TOEFL or 80 on the TOEFL iBT.
