Why ODU for Technology Education?

Technology teachers engage students with hands-on classroom activities. These activities include engineering, architecture, technology and applied sciences.

This endorsement is available to:

  • individuals who want to teach and need a teaching license, or
  • current teachers with a provisional license who desire a technical professional license.

When you complete this program, you will qualify to apply for a Virginia teaching license to teach technology education. If you are outside Virginia, please check with your state's department of education for licensing requirements, or with your local district for professional education requirements.
