Fashion merchandisers need a wide variety of knowledge and skills to help sell apparel, accessories, and other fashion products in online and retail environments. Our online fashion merchandising bachelor's program will prepare you to work and succeed in the retail, wholesale, or manufacturing aspects of the fashion industry.
Core courses focus on the planning, procurement, and marketing aspects of the fashion business. You'll learn how to research target markets, analyze business results, and develop strategies to meet the needs of retailers and consumers. You can also select elective courses in areas like e-commerce and social media and fashion forecasting.
A fashion internship will help you learn how to apply your knowledge and skills in real world career situations.
When you graduate, you will earn a Bachelor of Science in occupational and technical studies with a major in fashion merchandising.
