Our program will teach you how to design, develop, and support the electronics and computer networks that are essential to modern communications systems. Along with your technical training, you'll learn about the social and global impacts of engineering technology solutions.
Your coursework will provide a strong foundation in:
- communications systems
- wireless systems
- computer networks
- advanced circuits
- system testing, design, and development
- component design
You'll also be able to choose two elective courses to expand your experience.
When you graduate, you'll be eligible to take the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam in Virginia and many other states. These exams are the first step to licensure as a professional engineer.
