Old Dominion University joins largest-ever U.S. business delegation to 2016 Hannover Messe

Old Dominion University will be represented as part of the largest-ever U.S. delegation to Hannover Messe, the world's foremost trade fair for industrial technology.

The fair takes place April 25-29, in Hannover, Germany. For the first time in the Fair's history, the United States will be the partner country, a status that provides the more than 390 businesses and organizations in the U.S. delegation an unprecedented opportunity to be prominently featured throughout the event. President Obama will participate in this year's event, themed "Integrated Industry-Discover Solutions." Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe will also attend the event.

Representatives from Old Dominion University’s distance learning department (ODUOnline - https://online.odu.edu) and faculty from the Department of Modeling, Simulation and Visualization Engineering (MSVE - https://www.odu.edu/msve ) will exhibit in the Research and Technology Pavilion at the show where attendees can explore hands-on demonstrations in virtual reality and medical applications in modeling and simulation and learn more about the programs offered online at ODU.

We will demonstrate and deliver on that message at the 2016 Hannover Messe," said U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker. "We are proud to have some of America's most innovative and forward-thinking higher education institution leaders joining the U.S. delegation at this year's fair."
