Old Dominion University is one of the best colleges and universities in the nation for distance learning education, according to U.S. News and World Report's 2019 Best Online Programs rankings that were released Tuesday.
The rankings include public and private colleges and universities with degree-granting programs offering online classes. Categories include bachelor's programs and graduate programs in business, information technology, criminal justice, education, engineering and nursing.
ODU ranked among the top 100 institutions in the categories of Best Online Bachelor's Programs, Best Online MBA Programs and Best Online Nursing Programs.
"These rankings represent not only a continued emphasis on quality and rigor in our online programs, but our dedication to expanding the breadth of ODU's online catalog.
