This program will increase your knowledge and enhance your teaching and leadership skills. It is for educators interested in expanding their expertise in mathematics education leadership.

Strengthen your ability to:

  • study mathematics for deepening content knowledge and awareness of mathematical connections;
  • engage ALL math learners (kids, adults, and differently abled) in productive struggle and sense making;
  • support teachers and administrators to improve mathematics learning and programs in schools; and

  • Have a master's degree
  • Have three years of successful classroom experience in teaching mathematics
  • Hold the Virginia Collegiate Professional License or an equivalent license from another state
