Why ODU for Leadership?
Today's workplace needs leaders skilled in areas such as reasoning, communications and analysis. In ODU's online leadership bachelor's program, you will focus on the characteristics and skills you need to be a strong leader. You will learn ethical leadership, legal issues, communication skills, and critical thinking/decision-making.
This is an interdisciplinary program. That means you can combine leadership studies with online courses from areas such as:
- philosophy
- computer science
- engineering
- information technology
- criminal justice
You'll also complete a project demonstrating leadership and problem-solving skills.
Our leadership major is offered by the College of Arts and Letters and coordinated with Continuing Education. When you graduate, you will earn a Bachelor of Science degree in interdisciplinary studies with a major in leadership.
