You will take 21 credit hours of core coursework in the following areas:

  • Mathematical Economics
  • Economic Analytics
  • Advanced Microeconomic Analysis
  • Advanced Macroeconomic Analysis
  • Econometrics

You will then choose six credits of economics electives and complete a Capstone project to earn your master's in economics.

Ready to Apply?

Applications are considered on a rolling basis to start in the Fall or Spring semesters, but a Fall start is preferred. To apply, you should have a minimum 3.0 GPA in your major and take the GRE or GMAT. If your overall undergraduate GPA is over 3.3, GRE/GMAT may be waived.

For students whose native language is not English, a minimum score of 550 on the paper-based TOEFL, 79 on the internet-based TOEFL, or 6.5 on the IELTS.
