Why ODU for Au Pair?

From Au Pair to Your Next Chapter is an online course created to help you feel clear, confident, and prepared for what comes next—personally and professionally—while you are still an au pair.

This course gives you guidance, structure, and practical tools so you can stop feeling stuck or uncertain and start moving forward with a real plan. You’ll reflect on your goals, learn how to communicate your experience, and begin building the professional tools you’ll need for your next step.

This class is designed to support you as you prepare for your next personal and professional chapter, while you are still in the au pair program.

Through guided reflection, practical tools, and real-life examples, you will gain clarity about who you are, where you are going, and how to start building your personal brand and professional essentials—including resume readiness, LinkedIn basics, and professional communication—without waiting until your au pair year is over.

The goal is for you to feel more confident, prepared, and intentional as you plan your next step—whether that means continuing your education, exploring career opportunities, returning home, or choosing a brand-new direction.
