Why ODU for Public Health - Environmental Health Online?

ODU's Master's in Public Health (MPH) Environmental Health Degree online program is interprofessional. That means you will connect with students, international and community organizations, and health professionals.

Didactic and experience-based courses will develop your skills in applied public health research, data management, community health improvement, and environmental interventions.

In the global environmental health specialty program, you will focus on modern health challenges in the U.S. and worldwide. Courses may include:

You can also add our graduate certificate in Global Health to your MPH degree.

Required Courses - Environmental Health MPH Online

  • 43 credit hours, including a practicum

Online courses are offered in fall, spring, and summer for full- and part-time study. The practicum for this environmental health online degree program can be completed in a community organization local to the student.

Online Learning Environment

Participate in live, regularly scheduled online class meetings and access course materials online from any location. All courses follow ODU's regular academic calendar.

How to Apply

To apply, you should have:

  • An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Unofficial transcripts from all degree-granting programs listing the dates of completion or attendance.

Applicants with a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale are preferred. No GMAT or GRE required.
