ODU's MPH program is interprofessional. That means you will connect with students, international and community organizations, and health professionals.
Didactic and experience-based courses will develop your skills in applied public health research, data management, community health improvement, and environmental interventions.
In the global environmental health specialty, you will focus on modern health challenges in the U.S. and worldwide. Topics include:
- food safety and foodborne illnesses
- air and water quality
- hazardous materials
- disaster preparedness
- risk assessment
- sea level rise
- climate change policy
You can also add our graduate certificate in Global Health to your MPH degree.
