You'll start with online ODU classes while you finish your AIT degree, complete a graduate certificate from ODU, and then travel to ODU's main campus in Norfolk, Virginia, USA to complete the Master of Science (M.S.) degree.

1 Year Hybrid Online in India + 1 Year at ODU's Campus in the U.S.

Step One
Acharya undergraduate students will do their “senior project” under the co-supervision of ODU faculty via ODUGlobal. This course will count double as a graduate independent study.

Step Two
Also during the first year, students will take 2 ODU graduate online courses and 1 Acharya graduate course, such as statistics, while in India.

Step Three
Receive your ODU Graduate Certificate. Then, spend one year on ODU campus (in Virginia, USA) to complete a M.S. degree by taking four more courses and completing a thesis.

Interested in earning a Ph.D.?

To continue study for a Ph.D. degree at ODU, the top 20% (of a minimum of 5 students) completing their ODU M.S. degree program will receive ODU ­financial support to cover 60%-100% of tuition plus a stipend.

    Online courses also have a technology fee of $30 per credit hour. On-campus tuition cost does not include housing, meals, etc.

  • Cohorts begin each Fall term. To begin, you can apply to ODU as a non-degree seeking graduate student.

    Early Admission Deadline: April 15
    - We will waive the $50 application fee if you apply for early admission!

    Standard Admission Deadline: June 1

    If you begin as a non-degree seeking student, you will need to apply to the M&S Engineering program before you travel to the U.S. to complete your studies.
