Kristyn Rose, Instructional Designer

At the intersection of passion and education, you'll find Kristyn Rose.

Rose is an instructional designer in Digital Learning at Old Dominion University, and she is the recipient of the President’s Excellence Award from the Association for Distance Education and Independent Learning (ADEIL) for her dedicated service and years of leadership.

Rose has served on the ADEIL Board of Directors for 13 years, including being chair of the Research Committee, serving as President three times, and planning two national conferences.

As an Instructional Designer, her responsibilities include working closely with faculty to develop and design online courses to help students get the most value from their online classes. She also creates interactive lessons through learning materials, activities, and assignments to ensure that students receive the best online education.

Since joining ODUGlobal, two of Rose's Digital Learning courses have been nominated for ADEIL course awards with one course earning an Honorable Mention in 2021.

Rose is an integral part of the dedicated faculty here at ODUGlobal. And we look forward to seeing what she accomplishes next!
