Why ODU for Electrical Engineering Technology?

Electrical engineering technology is all around us, from mobile devices and computers to manufacturing systems and power grids. In ODU's online bachelor's program, you'll gain a solid foundation the knowledge and skills required to design, test, and maintain real world systems.

When you graduate, you will earn Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology (BSET) with a major in Electrical Engineering Technology. You'll be eligible to take the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam in Virginia and many other states. This exam is the first step to licensure as a professional engineer.

ODU's electrical engineering technology program is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission (ETAC) of ABET, www.abet.org, under the General Criteria and the Electrical/Electronic(s) Engineering Technology Program Criteria.
