ODU's cybersecurity classes give you a broad foundation in multiple fields, such as computer science, engineering, information technology, criminal justice, and philosophy.

This interdisciplinary minor in cybersecurity will provide you with a foundation in computing, communications, policies, ethics and social uses of the Internet. Your courses will give you hands-on experience with virtual lab sessions to identify and troubleshoot potential security lapses. You'll also be able to select courses that match your interests, in topics like digital forensics or network security.

No matter what major you pursue, this minor can give you the knowledge to prevent or respond to cyber incidents.
