Tips for All Online Appointments
General Guidelines for All Appointments
To make the most of your appointment, please follow these tips:
- Prepare your questions in advance—we’re here to help you succeed.
- Notify us if you’ll be late or can’t attend. We’re happy to reschedule.
- Choose a quiet, indoor location. Outdoor or in-car settings can cause noise and connectivity issues.
- Avoid multitasking (e.g., cleaning, shopping, working) to stay focused.
- Do not drive during your appointment. If you are driving, we will immediately cancel the meeting and ask you to reschedule.
Zoom Appointments: What to Expect
If you're new to Zoom, you can download Zoom or join through your browser. Watch this YouTube tutorial for guidance.
- Appointment links will be emailed or texted to you. Just click the link at your scheduled time to join.
- Use a desktop or laptop for the best experience, especially for screen sharing. Avoid Chromebooks, phones, and tablets, as they may not support screen sharing.
- You'll enter a waiting room when you join. Our staff will admit you as soon as possible. There may be a short delay if a previous meeting is still wrapping up.
- Once admitted, select "Connect to Audio using Computer."
