Tuition Assistance for Military Students Continues

We are pleased to announce that ODU has been approved to continue its participation in the DoD Tuition Assistance (TA) program under new guidelines announced by the Department of Defense effective January 1, 2012.

If eligible military students have any questions, they should go to the following web site for further information: https://www.dodmou.com/. From the menu bar, click on “Participating Institutions”, scroll down to find Old Dominion University and its satellite campuses.

Students using TA may be asked about this information when applying for benefits through their voluntary education office or command.

TA and GEV authorizations may be faxed to 757-683-4236 or 757-683-4100. Please note that Navy and Marine Tuition Assistance (TA) Authorization documents no longer include your social security number. To make sure your TA funds are credited to your ODU account, you must add their University ID or SSN to each TA Authorization before submitting it to the Office of Finance. This allows the Office of Finance to identify the TA user and apply the funding to their university account.
