College Choice 2016 ranks Old Dominion University among the top 5 programs in the country for Online Master's in Healthcare Administration.

ODU ranked 5th out of the 50 schools listed by College Choice.

College Choice rankings are based on what prospective students voted as the most important factors in making a college decision. Among those factors are a school's reputation, affordability, financial aid and post-graduate success, according to the website. Academic reputation is a top consideration when choosing schools because it is relevant to employers. College Choice also considers tuition costs and financial aid opportunities. To determine post-graduate success, College Choice uses data on graduate earning power when formulating their rankings.

Healthcare is one of the fastest-growing industries in the country. Health administration jobs have increased 36 percent in the last four years and are expected to continue to grow.

"A graduate degree is even more in demand, with graduates being able to expect $100,000 starting salary once they receive their Master's degree. And that's not the only benefit to receiving this graduate degree. Graduates are often hired before they graduate, allowing them to transition seamlessly into their new job without any interruption to their lives," according to College Choice.

Old Dominion University provides a robust online learning environment that has grown from more than 35 years of experience in distance education.
