ODUGlobal Scholarship Terms and Conditions
Terms
- An applicant must be admitted into Old Dominion University as an ODUGlobal (online) student to qualify for ODUGlobal scholarship consideration.
- ODUGlobal scholarships are awarded based on student type and residency status. You must be an ODUGlobal student (not a Norfolk campus student) to receive your award. Changes to student type and/or residency status may result in a change or loss of the award.
- Only one ODUGlobal scholarship will be awarded per student. Students eligible for more than one ODUGlobal scholarship will be offered the award providing the greatest monetary value.
- ODUGlobal scholarships are for degree-seeking students enrolling during the fall and/or spring semesters only. Scholarship funds do not apply to summer semesters.
- ODUGlobal scholarships will be awarded only to students meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress targets toward degree completion.
- ODUGlobal scholarship funds will be disbursed via the Office of Student Financial Aid into the recipient’s account no sooner than ten (10) days prior to the first day of the semester.
- Scholarship funds will be released only if a student is registered for courses during the scholarship term.
- Students must be registered for at least one course during the semester in which the ODUGlobal scholarship is awarded to receive the scholarship. If the amount of the scholarship exceeds tuition and fee expenses during the semester in which it is awarded, the remaining balance will be returned to the student to assist with other educational costs (books, supplies, etc.).
- Dropping courses prior to the add/drop deadline of a semester (during the period where a 100% refund of tuition is offered) will result in a forfeiture of the scholarship monies.
